Meet Ashley Zifer, Au.D., F-AAA

Dr. Zifer, owner of Hear for You Audiology, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at The University of Akron and obtained her Doctor of Audiology degree and Certification in Animal Audiology with honors at the University of Cincinnati. She has extensive training in a variety of clinical settings including, ENT offices, hospitals, VA clinics, school settings, and private practice. Dr. Zifer completed her externship at University Hospitals Case Medical Center and was Audiology supervisor at Ohio Head and Neck Surgeons for 8 years.

To all of you animal lovers, as a Graduate Researcher Dr. Zifer was instrumental in designing a hearing protection device/protocol for military working dogs. She also conducted Auditory Brainstem Response testing on canines and participated in a variety of research projects involving both land and aquatic animals.

Dr. Zifer is licensed in the State of Ohio (A.01891), certified through the American-Speech Language Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Zifer has a natural drive to help others and being an audiologist allows her to fulfill this passion. She finds reconnecting families with their loved ones through better hearing very rewarding.

Dr. Zifer resides in North Canton with her husband and two sons. She enjoys skiing, boating, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
